My belly was empty. Children are adopted. The bloodlines are from Asia. Eldest daughter is abandoned. She calls out “mama" and I comfort her cries. Her sister is cast out because she is female. I call her “Eve", and she responds: “You are the origin of my heart.” The journey of family is woven with story. The spirals represent two who changed my life forever. Here is my tribe, my family. We are whole: Holo‘oko‘a.
